From Bean to Bar – Making Chocolate with Barbara Wilson. Learn the process of how chocolate is made from cacao bean to chocolate bars and how you can make your own delicious chocolate at home using a food processor. Barbara and her husband own their own chocolate making business, where they buy their beans directly from the plantations in Ecuador. Class Fee: $15 (includes reserved seating, recipes, taste samples, and 10% off store coupon) - - - Barbara is the owner of Mindo Chocolate, a local based business making and selling chocolate. She is a graduate of Ecole Chocolat, a master chocolate making program in Vancouver, British Columbia. She and her husband own a El Quetzal de Mindo in Mindo, Ecuador.
